GRIDX, multi experience destination in Wickrange
In Wickrange, route des Trois Cantons, Félix Giorgetti is building a large-scale project in partnership with Kuhn Construction. A mixed-use project of approximately 90,000 m² which extends over more than 3 ha.
A few minutes from the capital and close to the borders, on the route des Trois Cantons, that Felix Giorgetti realizes a new mixed activity center, in partnership with Kuhn Construction. A project of more than 90,000m² gross built on a site of 3.3ha. It is a complex composed of a commercial area and a future housing estate developed and built by Félix Giorgetti.
The start was given in January 2020, when the intense and vast task of earthworks began, with some 260,000m³ of excavated material being removed. The excavators and dumpers then gave way to concrete mixers, formwork panels and, above all, 9 Skyliners: six tower cranes, two mobile cranes and one crawler crane.
This new center has been designed as a new pole of attractiveness and brings together many activities:
- Artisanal and commercial ;
- Event spaces ;
- Desks ;
- Hotel ;
- A large capacity park house.

A synergy creating concept
The scale of the site is such that it has been divided into four zones. In total, up to 85 people, workers and supervisors, work in this huge hive where the complex is gradually emerging from the ground.
GRIDX is a multi-activity centre with an outstanding architecture symbolising its uniqueness. The site offers a unique experience to both professionals and visitors with a 360° offer. Its lifestyle and inclusive concept are aimed at everyone and becomes a place for sharing and meeting.
Mobility enthusiasts will find all the shops and services they need to satisfy their passion in one place, while the general public will make great discoveries and enjoy the centre’s many leisure areas.
The centre concept is based on retailtainment, a market trend that combines retail and entertainment to offer a unique shopping and entertainment experience.
The GRIDX experience is based on strong values: passion, uniqueness, exclusivity and quality. These values are essential. They will unite each of the tenants who share this taste for quality products and services.
The three pillars of GRIDX
Passion & Mobility
Food, Art & Leisure
Work & Stay
140 cells will house craft and commercial activities and will be at the heart of the GRIDX concept to generate synergies between the different types of activities in the centre.
In addition to the craft and commercial offer, numerous thematic zones - retracing the history of the automobile, or discovering new technologies and innovations, for example - will offer visitors an immersive and one-of-a-kind visit.
A culinary and gastronomic experience will be provided by the restaurant and food corners. An ideal context for a stay in the centre’s hotel or the organisation of events in an original setting, in one of our dedicated rooms or in our business centre.
Creating new opportunities
GRIDX is a project that is out of the ordinary in the region, both in its nature and in its size and scope.
With GRIDX, Félix Giorgetti seizes a new opportunity to reinvent itself, to aim at new ambitions. GRIDX is a strong symbol for our company, carried by the 4th generation of the Giorgetti family, which is bringing a new and modern vision.
As a company that is more than 100 years old with strong local roots, Félix Giorgetti is proud to contribute to the development and dynamism of Luxembourg. A role that it wishes to confirm with GRIDX, which will create numerous economic and tourist opportunities. With its unique concept, its craft and commercial activities, its new hotel offer of 133 rooms for short and medium stays, its 900 m2 business centre and its 1,400 m2 event hall, GRIDX will galvanise Luxembourg’s BtoB solutions and business tourism. The centre also completes the country’s cultural offer by inaugurating a digital art museum.
GRIDX goal is to promote the Grand Duchy internationally and attract visitors from the Greater Region and abroad.
Hotel, 133 rooms in the heart of GRIDX
Noto, the hotel at GRIDX, will offer a varied range of rooms. The aim is to meet the needs of a diverse clientele, whether it be visitors to the centre who come to attend the many events that will be organised there (seminars, sports meetings, concerts), tourists, or to offer quality accommodation solutions to workers passing through for a short or longer stay.
With a level of services corresponding to a three-star superior, the hotel will have a total of 133 rooms, suites and flats:
- 30 cosy rooms of around 13 m2
- 82 standard rooms of around 18 m2
- 9 suites of around 33 m2
- 1 family suite of 67 m2 with a sleeping area for children
- 5 extended stays of around 48 m2 and 6 extended stays of around 58 m2
These are particularly suitable for stays of between one week and several months. They have been designed to make guests feel at home, with a kitchenette, a lounge and a partition to isolate the sleeping area. The suites also connect with the cosy rooms, making them ideal for families or groups.
Thanks to the concept of synergies generated by GRIDX's different activities, guests will find all the services they need for their daily lives in the centre: eating in the food hall and its brasserie, to which they will have privileged access, pampering themselves at the beauty salon, and so on.
In the heart of Europe
Located in Wickrange, GRIDX enjoys an ideal position: along the easily accessible A4 highway, only a few kilometres from Luxembourg City, Esch-sur-Alzette and the French, Belgian and German borders. The centre will be only two hours from major cities such as Strasbourg, Aachen or Brussels, and three hours from Paris or Lille.
The Luxembourg City train station and Findel airport are also nearby, making this destination very convenient for both the general public and professionals coming to an event at GRIDX.
It is also located on the route of the tram that will connect the capital to Esch-sur-Alzette and on the route of the “Vëloexpresswee” bicycle path.
