New interface for efficient earthmoving

A new tilting interface, easier earthmoving, increased efficiency, Skyliners launches its high-capacity prototype on a Liebherr L576.

Always visionary and on the lookout for
solutions, the Skyliners teams set about developing a new hydraulically tiltable interface. After six months of intensive development, the prototype interface was mounted on a Liebherr 576, with a load capacity of 25 tonnes.

First tests very conclusive

The first tests in February 2024 were very conclusive, and use in real conditions is now under way. This interface features a semi-automatic guidance system, a quick hitch, adaptability on flat or sloping ground in both directions of travel and a 30-degree rotation. This gives it a high capacity for moving equipment and saves a considerable amount of time. The interface offers increased efficiency, adaptability and optimised productivity.

In fact, thanks to its size and performance, it reduces the need for machines on worksites.

Strategic partnerships

Skyliners has developed this new interface in collaboration with two partners, Intercontinental Equipement Verdun for the mechanical part and Leica Geosystems for the semi-automatic guidance system equipped with MC1 software, which also works with other guidance systems. Before marketing this new technology, Skyliners plans to keep use of the machine in-house while marketing the interface to customers.

It will be available either as a stand-alone unit or with Leica Geosystems technology including displays, positioning and indicators, enhancing the user experience with advanced functionality.

Disruptive advantages

In addition, the investments made by Skyliners to strengthen its breakdown team, its workshop and its multi-make diagnostics system bear witness to the company's commitment and determination to innovate on its worksites.

With its compact size, cutting-edge sensors, responsiveness and robustness, this interface sets Skyliners as a benchmark in the construction sector, through its ongoing commitment to pushing back the boundaries of technological innovation.
